Astrid's Garden bag

In summer I prefer smaller projects, having a blanket on my lap when crocheting is not optimal in a heat wave. So I went for another bag, with a simple pattern with flowers. This can be made all in one colour background, or many (I used 8) or just a few. Perfect stash buster! It is made in parts: two squares for front and back, one strip for the sides and bottom and two strips for the handles. This bag is done in Interlocking crochet, and the pattern comes with instructions on the technique itself, plus photo tutorials on how to get started. I chose Scheepjes Cotton Create for this project. The pattern includes a list of all the colours used, and how many grams of each. It is easy to follow my colour scheme or just make your own colours, as this project is perfect for leftover yarn! I lined the bag with an inside pocket. I am not very good with sewing, but I added all the lining steps with photos if you want to add lining to yours.
