With graceful lace, soft lines, and delicate ties, it's effortlessly elegant while remaining wonderfully easy to knit. Seamlessly worked in one piece with minimal shaping, Petra invites you to slow down, savor every stitch, and create a garment you'll reach for season after season. Whether knit for yourself or someone you love, Petra is more than a top. It's a handmade wardrobe staple with timeless charm. **Gauge:** 17 sts and 24 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch, blocked 16 sts and 20 rows = 5” in Lace Pattern, blocked **Pattern Notes:** Petra Tied Top is worked flat from the bottom up in one piece (YAY! No seaming) with minimal shaping. Once the Lace Bodice is complete, begin working all stitches in garter stitch, bind off stitches for the Neck and work each shoulder separately. Finish both shoulders, cast on stitches for the Back Neck, then work the Back in Stockinette with Garter Edge until Back is the same length as Front. Once the top is complete, block it according to the yarn manufacturers’ instructions. Try on the top to determine where to place ties. Make ties using one of the instructions included below or use your own preferred method.
