“Great heroes need great sorrows and burdens, or half their greatness goes unnoticed. It is all part of the fairy tale.”
― Peter S. Beagle, *The Last Unicorn*

[Kits are available for the mitts on my website][1]
Inspired by the book by Peter S. Beagle. These mitts are worked in the round in stranded colorwork. Smartly placed stitches are utilized on the top hands motif to prevent long floats and give an ethereal, lunar feel to the mitts.
**Sizes**
Women’s Medium
Finished Circumference: 7 ½” (19 cm)
Length: 9” (23 cm)
*As with many colorwork mitts, these were designed with no ease. To adjust the size of your mitts, you will need to go up or down a needle size.
For instance:
On size US 0 (2 mm) needles,
34 sts = 4” / 10 cm to knit mitts with a 7” (18 cm) circumference,
OR
On size US 2 / 2.75mm needles,
30 sts = 4” / 10 cm to knit mitts with a 8” (20) cm circumference.*
**Materials:**
(10% Buffer has been added to all yardages)
