Knit the striking Meander scarf back and forth using stranded colourwork. There’s a [video tutorial][1] to guide you through all the different steps of the pattern, be sure to give it a watch! At the end you’ll have a colourful masterpiece to wrap up in. **Recommended yarn:** Weku Yarns Bukom DK (112m/50g; 50% Bluefaced Leicester, 50% Corriedale) Gold/Pink colourway: Colour A Caramel x 1 ball Colour B Raspberry Pink x 1 ball Colour C Golden Yellow x 1 ball Colour D Maroon x 1 ball If using 4 colours - you will need 50 grams of each (DK weight) If using 2 colours - you will need 100 grams of each (DK weight) Please Note: If you’re using a different yarn than the recommended Bukom DK, you might need more yarn. **Recommended needle size**: 4mm - circular needles recommended **Other materials**: scissors, darning needle, blocking supplies **Unblocked gauge**: 26 sts and 27 rows of the colourwork pattern measures 10x10cm (4x4”). If you do not meet gauge, you might need more yarn than specified. **Construction:** This scarf is knit from tip to tip, starting with a small number of stitches and getting wider towards the center. From the halfway point, which is partly measured by weighing your yarns, you decrease towards the other tip. Techniques include an i-cord cast on, an integrated i-cord edge running along on both side edges, and an i-cord bind off, for a clean finished look. This pattern uses stranded colourwork on both sides, meaning you knit and purl colourwork. You’re only ever working with 2 colours simultaneously: the Background colour and the Pattern colour. Unused yarns are carried along the sides. I highly recommend watching the [tutorial video.][2] [1]: https://youtu.be/lfCpkOcT2Gc [2]: https://youtu.be/lfCpkOcT2Gc
