**THE GEOMETRIC DOODLES** are inspired by simple, timeless shapes that you'll want to knit again and again. From windowpane check to wavy lines, circles and squares, these are the perfect charts for one-chart-wonder projects and beginner-friendly colorwork knitting! **The 51 Geometric Core Charts include squares, grid, rectangles, dots, circles, triangles, window pane, checkers, squiggles, and more!** The Geometric Doodle Hat download includes **full instructions to knit the hat + four pre-assembled full project charts** so you can match our sample (in addition to the 51 individual charts which you can use to mix-and-match any way you like!) This is a Doodle Series Pattern, which means it includes micro charts intended to be used as mix-and-match colorwork motifs throughout the project. Use the charts in this pattern, or you can substitute ANY other Doodle charts! This pattern is worked in the round from the bottom up. The brim is worked based on preferred ribbing and height. Then the design-your-own stranded colorwork is knit to desired finished height. Lastly, the crown is worked using spiral decreases. **SIZES** Approx. 14, 16, 18 (20, 22, 24) in [35, 40, 45 (50, 55, 60) cm] finished circumference. Approx. 6.5, 7, 7.5 (8, 8.5, 9) in [16, 17.5, 19 (20, 21.5, 22.5) cm] finished height. **YARN** Any DK, light worsted, or sport weight yarn that meets gauge. Doodles are designed to use leftover yarn, yarn advents, or any other small batches of colorways in your stash. Yarn shown is a suggestion from the Designer. Alternative yarns are encouraged. Sample uses yarn from Moonglow Yarn Co.
