Wilderness Headband

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: a. Circumference: 60 cm / 23.5” b. Width 10 cm / 4”. The wilderness headband is designed to have 2.5-5 cm / 1-2” of negative ease for a regular fit. GAUGE: 23 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4 x 4” in broken rib stitch on 3.5mm / US 4 needles after blocking. NEEDLES: 3.5mm / US 4 straight needles. NOTIONS: Tapestry needle, scissors. SUGGESTED YARN: This headband can be worked with one strand of DK-weight yarn or by holding two strands of fingering-weight yarn together. You’ll need approx: 100 m / 109 yds of DK-weight yarn. Sample knitted with yarn: 13 g of Knitting for Olive Merino Wool (100% wool - 250 m / 50 g) in the color Ocher Brown held double. This sample is worked by holding two strands of fingering-weight yarn held together.
