**Notes on the Pattern** The granny square pattern is provided as a crochet diagram with the international symbols (page 6). The meanings of each symbol are provided with the chart. Directions for the halter tie (page 7) and side ties (pages 8-9) are provided in US crochet terms. **Notes on Gauge** Each granny square should measure 10.5 cm x 10.5 cm. **Notes on Yarn** The yarn I used was DK (light 3) weight, but was quite light and you would likely be able to also use a sport (fine 2) weight as well. I would recommend using bamboo yarn.
