The front and back are seamed together at the shoulders to create a stable and polished shoulder seam. The shoulders, neckline, and armholes are shaped using German Short Rows. The finishing details include an attached I-cord edging around the neckline, delicate mohair ruffles along the armholes and hem, and I-cord ties that are knotted three times at each side beneath the arm to join the front and back. The top has a close-fitting silhouette.
