Sea Tee in CottonWaves is an oversized knit version of the classic T-shirt. The design features decorative chain-stitch borders along all edgings, inspired by the ’vintage’ baseball tee. MATERIALS Yarn quality: CottonWaves from Gepard (90% cotton, 10% linen, 50 g = 60 m). CottonBaby Lino from Gepard (80% cotton, 20% linen, 50 g = 178 m). Yardage: Color A: CottonWaves from Gepard, balls of 50 g: 9 (10) 11 (12) 12 (13) 13 (14). Color A, edgings: CottonBaby Lino from Gepard, balls of 50 g: 1 (2) 2 (2) 2 (2) 2 (2). Color B, chain-stitch: CottonBaby Lino from Gepard, balls of 50 g: 1 ball regardless of size. Needles & Notions: 7 mm circular needle (80 cm) and 6 mm circular needle (60 cm for ribbing and folded hems), all in Japanese Koshitsu bamboo from Seeknit and Gepard. 3 stitch markers (including 1 BOR marker in a contrasting color). A blunt tapestry needle (for Chain Stitch). Gauge: 12.5 sts and 17 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch with CottonWaves on 7 mm needles. Adjust needle size if necessary.
