All single crochets are worked in the back loop only; all double crochets are overlay stitches worked into the front loop of the stitch two rows below in the same color. ________________________________________ **Gauge** Gauge will affect final size and yarn usage. I strongly advise you to make a swatch of at least 15x15cm (6x6 inch) so you know what you gauge is with the yarn you like to use. Then measure in the center of the swatch how many stitches there are in 10x10 cm (4x4 inch). This way you can also aim on the size of the blanket you like. If you like the project to be slightly bigger, you can choose a bigger hook size and or use heaver yarn.
