Square Shape Pals Key Fob

The **Square Shape Pals Key Fob** is made up of 2 square motifs worked in turned rows that are crocheted together with a joining round that incorporates the arms/legs and a hanging loop. These can be made with other yarn thickness using an appropriate hook - choose a size a little smaller than given on the yarn label to ensure the arms/legs 'twirl' - size will vary accordingly. With my tension, a key fob made with the suggested yarn & hook only took 2.7g so I could get 18 from one 50g skein! making it a great option for party favours or charity fundraiser stall. The square motifs are approximately 1.25" across before being joined together & the finished key fob (excluding keyring/chain) is about 2.5" long. As well as a key fob/bag decoration/zipper pull/fidget toy, these could be used as: * a fridge magnet - add a piece of self adhesive magnetic tape to the back or add a magnet between the 2 layers before completing the join round. * hang from a lanyard or add a brooch pin to the back to identify members of a team * use for colour matching games - e.g. match with a pocket of the same colour in a 'quiet book' or add a noise maker between the layers for a sensory toy.
