The yarn is held double while working the stockinette stitch portions, and held single while working the lace pattern. The body and sleeves are worked separately in the round to the base of the yoke, then joined to work the raglan shaping. A small section of short-rows is worked at the back of the neck to help with fit. Sleeve instructions are written to use DPNs, however an alternate method of working small circumferences can be used, such as Magic-Loop, or a short circular needle for the larger sizes.
