Sanshi (the Chinese word for "thirty") is my cat's name. I chose this name to commemorate June 30, 2024, the day he joined our family. This is a digital pattern (available in PDF format only). It does not include a video tutorial or instructions for the basic Overlay Mosaic Crochet technique. The PDF includes: A complete chart on a single page, suitable for viewing on a computer, tablet, or mobile device; A 16-page printable multi-page chart; Row-by-row written instructions, US terms. Pattern Information Technique: Overlay Mosaic Crochet Graph size: 300 stitches wide × 299 rows Colors: 2 My Sample Information Yarn: 8-strand gradient cake yarn Hook size: 3.0 mm Gauge: 27 stitches × 28 rows = 10 cm × 10 cm in Overlay Mosaic Crochet (A heavy sport- to light DK-weight yarn that achieves the stated gauge may be used as a substitute.) Color A (Light color): Approximately 590 g Color B (Dark color): Approximately 470 g Finished size: Approximately 110 cm (43 in) wide × 115 cm (45 in) high You may use any two colors you like. To keep the details clear, I recommend choosing colors with a strong contrast. The amount of yarn required and the final size of your project will depend on your yarn thickness, hook size, and crochet gauge. This is the very first Overlay Mosaic Crochet pattern I have created, so I decided to make it available for free. I have tested the chart, but the row-by-row written instructions have not yet been fully tested.
