This pattern is part of **[Shine! Knitting with Beads][1]**, a collection of 18 designs inspired by knitting with beads. Each project explores different techniques, textures, and constructions, inviting you to enjoy the creative process while knitting unique garments with a subtle touch of sparkle. **Available in English and Spanish.** **ABOUT THE PATTERN** **The Night 2.0** was born from a design I wrote during the pandemic, imagining those nights of freedom we longed for. It includes several modifications, yet it preserves the essence of the original, with a completely new construction that improves the fit and elevates the design. **SIZES** 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9) Recommended ease: 4.75” / 12 cm of positive ease. Suggested yarn: Isager Silk Mohair – 75% kid mohair, 25% silk (232 yds / 212 m – 25 g). 5 (6, 7, 8, 9) (10, 11, 12, 13) skeins, colour: 2S. Suggested yarn: Rico Fashion Cotton – 53% cotton, 35% acrylic, 12% metallic yarn (137 yds / 125 m – 50 g). 1 skein, colour: 021. **Sequins:** Round, diameter 10 mm, approx. 40 (48, 54, 60, 66) (72, 78, 84, 92) g, colour: Silver. Needles and cables: N1: 5.0 mm / US 8 circular needles, 16” / 40 cm and 32” / 80 cm long. N2: 4.5 mm / US 7 circular needles, 16” / 40 cm and 32” / 80 cm long. **Notions:** A tapestry bead pre-strung onto the yarn (see Special Techniques), crochet hook for provisional CO [US 8 – 5.0 mm], row counter (recommended), stitch marker, tapestry needle, waste yarn or 1 stitch holder, scrap yarn. **GAUGE** 16 sts x 20 rows = 4” / 10 cm. Measured over Stockinette stitch after blocking, with N1 and MC. **NOTES** The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down. It begins with a provisional CO, from which the back is worked first. Once complete, the back is placed on hold while the fronts are worked separately from the same provisional CO. When both fronts are finished, they are joined to the back, casting on stitches at the underarm to form the armholes, and the body is worked flat to completion.
