Winter in the Valley Mittens

**Materials** 1.US Size 0 (2mm) set of dpns or circular needles (for Magic Loop method) 2.Fingering weight yarn 231y/50 g (211m/50g). You will need about 368y/80g total 3.Tapestry needle (for duplicate stitch/embroidery) 4.Beads (optional) **Notes** * Sizes : The size of the mittens can be adjusted with yarn and needles. My recommendation would be: for S/M light fingering + 2mm needles, for M use fingering + 2.25/2.5 mm needles, for large use sport weight and 2.5/3 mm needles. * Stranded colorwork : Follow the charts from right to left. Catch longer floats using preferred method. * Charts: There are two sets of charts: use the first set of charts to knit, then refer to the other set of charts for guidance on adding details in duplicate stitch or embroidery. * Duplicate stitch/embroidery : Some of the details are added by using duplicate stitch technique.
