Each tote size consists of motifs made in 4 distinct types - MC Solid Square, CC Solid Square, MC+CC Two-Color Square, CC Triangle. Once all necessary motifs have been completed, they are steamed and blocked to exact measurements. I recommend using a granny square blocking board to make this process easier. The tote is then assembled following the diagram for the chosen size using slip stitch with CC (or MC if preferred). Once assembled, the tote's opening is trimmed with a round of sc followed by a round of slip stitches all around the opening in CC from the inside of the tote. The fold lines of the tote are then steamed per the schematic to flatten it. Once dry, if desired the tote can be sprayed with a stiffening solution or to restore structure to your tote after a period of wear.
