Velina Headband

Velina headband is a part of the Velina collection, in collaboration with Cozy Girl Club Cph. It is worked back and forth on 3 mm needles. It can be worked either with a single strand for a light and delicate look, or with the yarn held double for a thicker, sturdier finish. First, an I-cord tie is worked. Stitches are then increased to shape the headband before continuing in chart pattern. After the chart has been worked the required number of times, decreases are worked to shape the other side of the headband. Lastly, a second I-cord tie is worked, and all loose ends are woven in. **Recommended needles** 3 mm needles. **Materials** Option 1 (Light and airy) - 15 g Gepard Wild & Soft, held single. Option 2 (Thicker and sturdier) - 30 g Gepard Wild & Soft, held double. **Gauge** Gauge is not crucial for this project, but it will affect the finished size and drape of the headband. **Sizing** The lace pattern is stretchy, and the I-cord ties allow the headband to fit most sizes.
