Sushi Socks

These delicious sushi socks are knit cuff down. They feature a 2x2 rib cuff with ‘chopsticks’ stripes, a wasabi shadow wrap heel and a soy dipped wedge toe. Why not make your favourite sushi roll filling? The colourwork pattern is as addictive as eating the real thing, so you’ll be showing off your new socks in no time. ## **Needles** ## 2.25mm (US 1) 9” (23cm) circular / 32” (80cm) circular for magic loop/ DPNs (stockinette) 2.5mm (US 1.5) 9” (23cm) circular / 32” (80cm) circular for magic loop/ DPNs (colourwork) ## **Gauge** ## 36 stitches x 36 rows to 4” (10cm) for colourwork 36 stitches x 48 rows to 4” (10cm) for stockinette ## **Sizes** ## S (M) L correspond to an actual foot circumference of 19cm (23cm) 25.5cm / 7.5” (9”) 10” This incorporates approximately 2-3cm / 0.75-1.2” negative ease with finished sock measurements being approximately 16.75cm (20cm) 23.5cm / 6.5” (8”) 9.25” ## **Yarn** ## Any 4ply sock yarn can be used if you can meet gauge. You may choose to use 7 different colours as shown in the sample, or you could simplify to two sushi ‘fillings’ to reduce the total number of colours needed. There is a simplified chart included on page 11.
