An updated version is now available on my website. The Braided Grass socks have been released to accompany my July batch of limited edition hand dyed sock yarn, Midsummer. As a child, I lived in a very old farmhouse with a beautiful meadow where I’d spend my summer playing in the long grasses. With their pretty braided cables and swathes of simple stockinette, these socks are a nod to those days and to the childhood home I still love. These socks are knit cuff down with a heel flap and gusset. The pattern can be worked with any needle configuration. Midsummer is available in a small batch from www.elizabethpawle.com
