A *goshuin* is a special seal and handwritten calligraphy received at Japanese shrines and temples. These are collected in a goshuin book (goshuincho), a book carried by visitors as a record of their journeys. This pouch is designed to protect your goshuin book and keep it in beautiful condition while traveling. It is a practical companion that can make collecting goshuin even more enjoyable! □ This drawstring pouch is worked in the round from the bottom up, beginning with a Turkish cast-on. In addition to the written pattern and charts, video tutorials for the cast-on, the drawstring hem, and the I-cord are also available. Please refer to them as needed.
