Strawberry Pouch Bag Charm

Overview Use up small yarn scraps with the charming Strawberry Pouch. It makes for an adorable bag charm and can hold a multitude of things from lip gloss to earphones to dog treats all easily acceslibe when attached to your bag. This project works up quickly, starting from the bottom and shaping with strategic increases. The top is worked with a little bit of stranded colourwork for the leaves and decreases for the perfect strawberry shape. Finished off with an i cord starp to easily add it to your bag. Sizes The pouch measure roughly 11cm at the widest point and 11cm from the bottom to the draw string. Yarn The sample is knit using a DK yarn. 1 pouch takes roughly 15g/35m of Yarn A (pink) and 12g/27m of Yarn B (green). With one ball of each colour, you should be able to make up to 3 strawberry pouches. Needles 3.5mm needles, you can use DPNs or needles long enough for magic loop Notions -stitch markers -5x beads (optional) Gauge 27 stitches x 38 rows = 10cm / 4 inches using 3.5mm needles. Since this is an accessory, getting exact gauge isn’t necessary. You’re aiming for the fabric to be fairly dense and structured.
