This breezy top has a repeat pattern that's relaxing enough to knit at the beach. My students often inspire me to design patterns that are accessible and introduce a few new techniques. I've included videos for avoiding color jogs with stripes, German Short Rows, and a simple Running Stitch finish for the armhole. Tee is worked in the round from the hem upwards to armholes. Back and Front are worked flat from armholes to shoulder. Armhole is finished with a running stitch. Body of tee features a ribbed hem, followed by Stockinette and CC textured stripes. Tee may alternatively be worked in solid color with texture stripes. Upper Front and Back feature a Stockinette section with a boat neck, short rows to shape shoulders. Shoulders are seamed with technique shown in video, or your preferred seaming method. Shoulder and sleeves are a bit longer on the larger sizes, as an intentional fit choice to make construction simpler. Difficulty/Skills Required: Level: Intermediate.
