C’est ainsi que j’ai eu envie d’un débardeur à bretelles larges, en côtes 4/1, avec des bordures en jersey qui se tiennent. Je cherchais aussi un fil souple et idéal pour l’été. J’ai trouvé la belle Sunny Linen de la marque Majogarn qui collabore avec moi pour ce projet. Margarita est donc un débardeur en top-down, avec un corps en côtes 4/1 pour un peu de texture. Il est en aller-retour pour le dos et les devants travaillés au fur et à mesure. Puis le corps est joint en rond. L’encolure et les emmanchures sont tricotées après-coup en jersey replié pour une belle tenue. Un joli basique pour une tenue d’été au top ! This is how this tank top idea featuring wide straps, 4/1 ribbing, and stockinette stitch edges - designed to maintain their shape over time - came to me. I was looking for a summer yarn with enough drape. I found the amazing Sunny Linen from Majogarn which offered to collaborate with me on this projet. Margarita is a top down tank top, with a body in 4/1 ribbing to add a little texture. You start with the back which is worked flat, then continue on the fronts, shaping them gradually. Then the body is knit in the round. The neckline and armholes are done at the end in stockinette stitch for a neat finish.
