Beam bandana

The Beam bandana is worked flat from the bottom tip outward, forming a small triangular shape. The pattern includes three sizes: a small headscarf, a small bandana, and a larger triangle that offers more coverage. The clean stitch pattern consists only of knit and purl stitches. It highlights the geometry of the design while keeping the knitting simple and meditative. The bandana can be knit in fingering-weight yarn for a lighter fabric, or in DK-weight yarn for a warmer version. DK-weight can also be achieved by holding fingering-weight yarn together with mohair for added softness and a gentle halo. For the smallest size, i-cords are added to the corners, allowing the piece to be tied and worn as a headscarf.
