Zinnia Bag

The Zinnia Bag is the perfect quick project for anyone, particularly a beginner looking to use multiple knitting techniques in a small project. This bag is also ideal if you are trying to use up single or partial skeins in your stash - it's the perfect stash and scrap buster project! The bag is made by knitting the front and back sides flat and sewing them together using an applied i-cord edge and attaching an i-cord strap. This bag can be made with any Aran weight yarn or combination of yarns to meet a similar gauge. The green/white pictured bag was made with one strand of DK held with one strand of Fingering weight in wool. The multi colour pictured bag was made with three strands of Fingering weight in cotton. You will need about 150-200g of your chosen yarns.
