By the time you finish the socks, you’ll not only have a great pair of socks...you’ll be a little smarter, too This stranded colorwork sock is knitted with fingering weight yarn. The pattern includes three size circumferences with instructions to help modify the length of the leg and foot to achieve the perfect fit. **YARN** Fingering weight, I used DROPS fabel unicolor sock wool (205m / 225 yds per 50g ball), but choose any fingering weight yarn you like as long as you obtain gauge. You need 2 colors. I used Drops Fabel 121 Weizen/Wheat and Drops 122 Dunkeloliv/Dark Olive **YARDAGE** MC (background color, Drops Fabel 121): approx. 24 (30, 36) g, 114 (143, 172) m / 125 (156, 188) yds CC (color of Geoffrey and the leaves, Drops 122): approx. 34 (42, 50) g, 136 (168, 201) m / 149 (184, 220) yds **NEEDLES** US 1 / 2.5mm circular needles (or DPNs) or size needed to obtain gauge **GAUGE** 34 sts & 47 rnds = 4 in / 10cm in stockinette stitch after blocking and washing **SIZES** The sock comes in three sizes: 1 (2, 3) The finished measurements are 6,5 (7.5, 9) in / 16.5 (19.5, 23) cm foot circumference. Measurements taken after blocking and washing. Socks are designed to fit an actual foot circumference of 7.5 (8.5, 10) in / 19 (22, 25.5) cm. Choose a size with a finished foot circumference measurement that is approximately 1in / 2.5cm smaller than your actual foot circumference, so that the sock will fit nice and snug on your feet.
