The scarf is knit flat lengthwise, from sleeve to sleeve. If a different number of colors are used, the color change placements will need to be adjusted. * To "work straight in pattern" means to continue the ribbing as established, knitting the knit stitches and purling the purl stitches. * The length can easily be adjusted by adding or subtracting an even number of rows from the body portion.
