Blue Tit Bird Socks

The **Blue Tit Socks** are inspired by the adorable Eurasian blue tit bird. The retro 80s-inspired athletic sock stripes are styled after this songbird's soft blue, yellow, and green feathers! This pattern is knit toe-up and designed for 32" or 40" circular needles (magic loop), but can be easily adapted for DPNs. Personally, I knit all of my socks on 9" circular needles and change to 40" circulars to work the toe, heel, and cuff. **Techniques and Design Features:** ✦ Toe-up construction ✦ Contrasting stripes ✦ Ribbed arch support ✦ Shadow-wrap heel ✦ Duplicate stitched colourwork ✦ Folded cuff (with optional "tongue-in-cheek" colourwork) **Sizing:** Pattern is written for adult sizes Small, Medium, and Large based on foot circumference, with guidance on adjusting the stitch count for other sizes.
