Herbarium camisole

**The Herbarium Camisole** is worked top-down, allowing the length to be easily adjusted. First, the straps and upper back are worked flat to the armholes, followed by the straps and upper front. The front and back are then joined and the body is worked in the round. **The pattern is charted and supported by written instructions.** **Two options for the upper back** are provided: one similar to the upper front, and an alternative with a slightly higher back for more coverage. **SIZES XS/S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL)** To fit chest circumference 71-86 (91.5-96.5) 101.5-106.5 (111.5-117) 122-127 132-137 cm / 28-34 (36-38) 40-42 (44-46) 48-50 (52-54) inches. Designed for a fitted silhouette with ease built in. For a more relaxed look, simply choose one size up. **MATERIALS** **Yarn:** DK/Light Worsted yarn, 11 WPI, approx. 230 (250) 300 (350) 420 (470) g of cotton or cotton-blend yarn. Samples are worked: green in DROPS Belle (53% cotton, 33% viscose, 14% linen; 50 g / 120 m), color 10 – Moss Green, purple in Scheepjes Linen Soft (27% linen, 47% cotton, 26% acryl; 50 g /135 m), color 612. You can use any yarn or yarn combination that achieves the gauge given below. From the test, it turned out that a cotton blend or other wool blend works better than pure cotton yarn. NOTE: If you wish to lengthen the garment you will need extra yarn. **Needles and Notions** 4.5 mm / US 7 80-100 cm / 32-40 inch circular needles for the body. Cable needle, stitch markers and any other tools you normally use when knitting. Needle size is for guidance only. **GAUGE** 20 stitches and 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches using 4.5 mm / US 7 needles. Gauge was measured over the leaf and reverse stockinette (purl fabric) stitch pattern after washing and blocking. **The pattern has been tested and tech edited.
