Rendezvous Top

This Design is a blend of many beloved romantic elements, thus named Rendezvous Top. It's recommended for knitters who have previous experience with slipped-stitches pattern, and are comfortable working with both written and charted knitting pattern. For Special Techniques, there're captioned video links included in the pattern. (Crochet hook is only used for making the fringe, you can also make the fringe in your preferred way!) **Sizes:** 1 ( 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ) Garment Circumference (cm): 65 (76, 87, 98, 109, 119, 130) To fit Bust Circumference (cm)=GC*100%-118%: 65-77 (76-90, 87-103, 98-116, 109-129, 119-140, 130-153) Total Length(exclude collar, include fringe/cm): 37 ( 38, 39, 40.5, 42, 44, 46) (Size 7 hasn't been test knitted, pls contact me if you would like to test knit size 7) **Knitting Order Instructions：** 1. Work from top to bottom. First knit the neckband, then pick up stitches from the braided neckline and knit Latvian braids. 2. Separate front & back panel while bind off stitches to create the open shoulder. 3. Use slip-stitch technique, work back and forth to create back and front panel. 4. Cast on underarm stitches, join front and back, and begin knitting in the round. 5. Finish with fringe making. **Knitting Needle：** ‣ For neck ribbing: 3.5mm. ‣ For other parts (main body): 3.75mm. **Other Tools：** ‣ 2.5mm Crochet Hook (for crochet cast-on & fringe making). ‣ Waste Yarn (for crochet cast-on). ‣ Tapestry Needle. ‣ Stitch Holders. ‣ 4 Stitch Markers for the beginning & end of repeat pattern，1 BOR marker. ‣ 4/4.5/5cm wide Cardboard (for fringe making, width depends on size). ‣ Scissors (to cut the fringe). **Yarn：** ‣ Itobatake Washilily (380m/100g), or other DK weight summer yarn. ‣ Color A used on neckline & base color，Color B used on hearty pattern & fringe. ‣ High Contrast is recommended; light colors are suggested for Color B. **Yarndage** Color A (meters): 289 (331, 376, 424, 471, 528, 581) Color B (meters): 213 (251, 293, 342, 388, 448, 498) **Gauge (After washing & blocking flat) ：** ‣ Neck Ribbing Row Gauge: Using 3.5mm needles, knit 1x1 ribbing according to the pattern, 22rows = 10cm. ‣ Main Body Gauge: Using 3.75mm needles and alternating colors A & B according to the chart, 26 sts x 44rows = 10 x 10 cm. **Special Thanks: ** The slip-stitch pattern is deeply inspired by designer Alena Malevitch's "Amore Mio Socks".
