Tee

This pattern is better referred to as a **recipe**. I created this pattern because I had yarn that I loved and couldn’t find a pattern to match my preferred gauge. Hence the name “Free Tee” — you are free to use whatever yarn you want! For the ingredients, you’ll need: * ***A v neck tee that fits you well.*** I used a commercially made cotton tee, but you can use other fabrics. One that is mostly straight on the sides is best, but a slight A-line would be okay. * ***Any yarn and needle combination that creates a garter stitch fabric you like.*** Gauge doesn’t matter here, but I would recommend staying somewhat close to the recommended needle size for the yarn you are using. The amount of yarn you need depends on the size you are making and the yarn you are using. To help estimate, I recommend looking at yardage requirements for other tees using similar yarn / needle combination in your size. Some notes: I am **not** a professional designer. I’m just someone with over 25 years experience knitting and crocheting. I tried to make this as clear as possible. This is a “recipe” pattern — meaning, you can make it work with most sizes and most gauges. An exception may be a combination of extremes: a super small size (e.g., baby) combined with a super chunky yarn.
