Begin with a double knitted waist border. The torso is worked in the round in stockinette stitch. The work is split for front and back. Front and back are worked flat separately. Diagonal shaping creates the sleeve line. Neckline shaping is introduced. Shoulders are shaped diagonally and seamed. Neckline is finished with a folded band. Garment is blocked. Elastic thread is woven through the neckline to create soft gathers. The arm edges are left clean and minimal with no additional border needed.
