Minor Illusion Dice Bag

This drawstring bag is knit flat and seamed, using a 2-color stranded colorwork chart that creates a “minor illusion” where one solid color dissolves into the other. The drawstring closure is created with two crocheted chains threaded through the ribbing. This is a perfect quick project to use up scraps, and is adaptable to variable yarn weights & needles depending on the desired size. Gauge is not critical for this project. The sample was knit at a fairly loose gauge (6 sts / 6 rows per inch). The finished bag shown measures approximately 4.5" wide × 4.5" tall. Materials Needed: * Yarn: Worsted or DK weight in two colors: Color A and Color B. * Needles: US 8 / 5 mm straight or circular needles * Notions: Crochet hook (size not important, smaller creates a tighter chain), tapestry needle, scissors
