Pikel Pullover

Hi everyone, I am so excited to share the Pikel Pullover! This is a crochet vest with a relaxed oversized fit, mesh stitches and an adjustable v-neck. This piece is gorgeous layered over t-shirts, long sleeves or worn on it's own for a beachy look. This pattern is written in graded men’s sizes S–XXXL, however it is a completely unisex design and looks amazing styled oversized! The pullover is constructed from two panels with ribbing added around the neckline and armholes to finish. There are also a few opportunities throughout the pattern to customise the fit and length to suit your style, including an edge border to increase the width of your garment at the end, a lifesaver so you never have to frog your work! The sample uses a fingering weight cotton yarn to create a lightweight drapey fabric perfect for layering year-round, however feel free to experiment with different fibres, weights and hook sizes to create your own look! The mesh stitch works up surprisingly quickly and makes this a really fun pattern. This pattern is best suited for advanced beginners and uses basic stitches throughout, including single crochet, double crochet and simple shaping techniques with pictures to support.
