Felted Birdhouse

The Felted Birdhouse is knit from the bottom up, holding two strands of worsted weight yarn together. It is knit in one piece so no seaming. It may be easier to begin with magic loop and move to one circular needle (16" or 24"), finishing with magic loop or DPNs. After the knitting is complete, toss it in the washing machine to felt it up. Hang in a tree near your window or on a deck and watch the birds build their nest. Enjoy watching mama bird raise her babies in your handknit creation!
