Flannel Sweater was inspired by planned pooling method (it’s a technique that uses variegated yarn to create intentional patterns). I love the look of planned pooling, but wanted to eliminate the challenge of having to identify specific yarn that works for planned pooling. This also allows you to create fun color mixes that're perfect for your desired color palette. There are two different tables provided in the pattern based on the positive ease you desire and the sleeve types.* **Suggested Yarn & Gauge:** Gauge (22sts x 22 rows 10X10cm) for the pattern recommends a 4.0mm hook with fingering weight yarn for flowy finish of the sweater. However, the pattern can also be used as made to measure (MtM) (if not meeting gauge) using thicker yarn (DK) if you prefer a more structured fit. *Testers have used yarn ranging from lace weight to DK.
