**OVERVIEW:** Mathilda Top is a clean, modern summer piece knitted in Sunny Linen. The design features a sleeveless shape, a softly rounded square neckline, and a vertical lace panel at the center front. **CONSTRUCTION:** The piece is worked from the top down. The back yoke is worked flat, with increases to shape the armholes. Each shoulder is then worked flat separately, incorporating increases for the front neckline, before being joined by casting on stitches to form the front yoke. The lace pattern is worked across the center front. The front and back are then joined at the underarms to create the body, which is worked in the round. A folded hem is added for a clean finish.
