Entre Rosas Pillowcase

A simple but comprehensive pattern, perfect for a first experience with the Filet Crochet technique. The pattern includes: -an introduction to Filet Crochet & Grids, -brief explanation on the use of crochet thread vs yarn, -written and video tutorials for the special stitches (linked Dc and Picot) -grids for vertical and horizontal orientations of the design (front and back panels) -brief instructions on how to starch the pillowcase border -Lookbook About the pattern: -Language: English -written in US crochet terminology -metric and imperial measurements -Crochet Experience: suitable for confident/experienced beginners as well as more advanced crocheters Materials: -150g=510m of Crochet Thread size 6 (I used Rosários 4, 100% mercerized cotton, size/no. 6, -2.5mm hook or a hook which allows you to match gauge if desired -Pillow insert that fits inside pillowcase -Scissors -Darning needle -Starch (optional) Note: some testers chose not to match the gauge and instead used different yarn weights/thread sizes and hook sizes. Some also used the grid to create decorative wall hangings and placemats- refer to the Lookbook.
