*Blumen is a beautiful, not so typical colorwork sweater with lots of options to make it just your own. You can go with a more classic look on one hand or let your creativity run free and make it into a colorful eyecatcher.
The alternating plain stockinette and colorwork stripes provide just the right amount of fun and although knit on small gauge it is a surprisingly quick knit.*
**PATTERN NOTES:**
The sweater is worked top down as a seamless raglan construction. It starts with a longtail cast-on at the neckline opening. The raglan markers are set up and a few short rows are worked to shape and lower the neckline at the front. The yoke continues in established raglan shaping and the first two flower motif stripes are worked. Body and sleeves are continued top down in the round and the third flower stripe is added. There are some optional shaping instructions for the body for a slight A-line shape and a lower hem at the back.
The colorwork is fully charted for each size, and there are two pdf files for the charts to chose from, depending on your color choice. Either dark motif on light background or vice versa.
The pattern also provides some helpful tips on how to adjust it to suit your own preferences.

I recommend choosing a size with approx. 10 - 20 cm/4 - 8" positive ease to get a comfortable fit. Sample is shown in size 3, worn with approx. 19 cm/7½" positive ease.
