Liinu Bag

Liinu Bag is a relaxed but stylish bag knitted holding two different colours of Line together, creating a beautiful melange effect. The bag has metal chain shoulder straps that have a crochet chain woven into them, giving it a contemporary touch. The bottom of the bag is knitted first. Stitches are picked from the sides of the bottom piece to create a nice shape for the bag. The bag is worked from bottom up and tunnels are worked at the top of the bag for the metal chain shoulder straps. The bag is finished with a fabric lining that gives it more support and structure. Size: one size Width: approx. 50 cm Height: approx. 40 cm Gauge: 17 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch using 4.5 mm needles Circular needles: 4.5 mm 80 and/or 100 cm if the magic loop technique is used, 4 mm 80 cm Crochet hook: 3 mm (if you use bigger metal chain, you can use a bigger crochet hook as well) Materials: Suggestion: 200 g of Color 1 and 200 g of Color 2 of Line by Sandnes Garn (50 g = 110 m), or same amounts of Drops Belle (50 g = 120 m) Approx. 160-180 cm of metal chain (size 2,5 x 7 x 9 mm in the pictures), pliers or cutter to open/cut the chain and a connecting piece to close the chain Approx. 70 x 55 cm of fabric for lining Difficulty: 2 out of 5 (Shade 2331 and 6032 in the picture)
