Inspired by pastel goth fashion, the Whimsy Waves collection is flowy, fun and whimsical. This 4 in 1 pattern features instructions for shorts, pants, a straight skirt, and a skater skirt! I wanted to create crochet pants / skirts that are built for everyday wear. This pattern creates a solid fabric without big gaps/holes, without being too dense and heavy. This is a made to measure pattern, which makes it size inclusive! This pattern is no-sew, and creates minimal ends to weave. 1 Pattern, 4 versions: Skater Skirt Shorts Straight Skirt Pants Written in English Lots of pictures for clarity Uses US terms Skirts: Advanced Beginner level / Pants & Shorts: Intermediate level This pattern works with DK (3) yarn & Worsted (4) yarn. I recommend something lighter in weight (higher yardage per 100g) so the bottoms do not become heavy. The lookbook includes yarn amounts and hook sizes of testers to help gauge how much yarn you’ll need. What I used for size M: Shorts: yarn A - 424m, yarn B - 265m (DK [3]) Straight Skirt: yarn A - 240m, yarn B - 180m (Worsted [4]) Pants: yarn A - 1070m, yarn B - 915m (DK [3]) Skater Skirt: yarn A - 742m, yarn B - 636m (DK [3]) Hook size is up to you, go by what your yarn recommends.
