Lace Hairband

This is a lace hairband worked flat and joined to hair ties at both ends. The piece begins by working directly into the centre of a hair tie, then widens through increase sections, continues in a repeating lace pattern, and narrows symmetrically before finishing onto the second hair tie. The finished size is adjustable. Length can be customised by changing the number of Lace sets, based on the wearer’s head circumference. Width is determined by the increase and decrease sections. Gauge is not critical, but it will affect the final size. One Lace set measures approximately 6 cm in height with the recommended materials. If your gauge differs significantly, refer to the instructions provided in the pattern to calculate the required number of repeats. Materials: 2.20 mm crochet hook 100% cotton yarn (25 g / 75 m), Sport weight Hair Ties (3 mm) 2ea or Double Loop Hair Tie 1ea Yarn usage is minimal.
