Baltic Hats: Crossroads

Baltic Hats: Crossroads is the third hat of my Baltic Hats series. This textile pattern resembles four-petaled flowers or intersections. Ancient Lithuanians erected tall wooden pillars at crossroads and sacred sites. These pillars evolved to wayside crosses, which today include both Christian symbols and elements from nature and can still be found in the countryside. The Crossroads hat can be knit in four different sizes. The hat size can be further adjusted by changing the brim length. It can also be knit in two or more colors with DK/3 weight yarn.
