The Kida Sweater

**CONSTRUCTION** The Kida Sweater is worked top down. First, the upper back panel is worked in stockinette with shoulder shaping to underarm. Then, stitches are picked up for the front right and left shoulders, which are worked separately in stockinette. After both front shoulder panels are complete, stitches are cast on for the center front neckline, and the front panel is worked in stockinette to the underarm. After completing the front, the back and front panels are connected and then the body and sleeves are knit in the round.
