Gathering Point Cushion

The Gathering Point Cushion is worked from four mitred squares, joined as you go to form a cross at the centre of the cushion front. Each square is shaped using centred decreases in stockinette stitch, creating clean diagonal lines towards the middle. A consistent two-row stripe is done across the entire cushion front. **Finished Measurements** Cushion front: approximately 46 × 46 cm after blocking Fits a 45 × 45 cm or 50 x 50 cm cushion insert. **Supplies** Needles: 4 mm circular needle, 60 cm or longer 45cm cushion inner (for a looser fit) OR 50cm cushion for a plumper cushion.
