The button band features a woven stitch pattern, adding a sophisticated texture while providing structural stability to the fabric. It is worked in a top-down construction. The process begins by knitting the back neck band, followed by picking up stitches along the band to create the shoulders and the back panel. The front panels are then worked by picking up stitches from the back shoulders. After joining the back and fronts to complete the body, the sleeves are worked by picking up stitches around the armholes.
