Finished scarf dimensions: 70" x 7" Gauge: 21 stitches and 28.5 rows = 4 inches Materials needed: DK/light yarn in 2 colors, ~350 yd of each 3.50 mm (US 4) knitting needles (or whatever is needed to obtain desired gauge) Tapestry needle to weave in ends Stitch markers (optional) This pattern uses the double knitting technique to create a reversible scarf featuring 18 different birds of prey, including hawks, owls, falcons, vultures, and more. A full species key can be found at the end of the pattern. The pattern is in english and includes charts for the color work and brief descriptions of techniques. I would recommend that you are familiar with double knitting before beginning. The cast on, edge, and bind off methods used can be substituted for whichever methods you prefer.
