When you want a triangle scarf you can layer over anything, Vesper delivers. If you're new to lace, this is the project that will make you feel like you've cracked the code. If you've been knitting lace for years, Vesper lets your hands take over while your mind wanders. The geometric lace is worked entirely on garter stitch, with no purling and a satisfying flow. You work this wide, shallow triangle from the bottom up until you reach your desired size. Make a big wrap or a petite neck scarf, it's entirely up to you. Either way, it's got that je-ne-sais-quoi that makes you feel like you belong on the cobblestone streets of Paris. YARN Approximately 275 m / 300 yds of (light) fingering weight yarn. Shown in Knitting for Olive Merino (100% Merino; 250 m / 273 yds per 50 g), color Rust. NEEDLES Size 4 mm / US 6 needles or size to achieve pattern gauge Although you work this scarf flat, I recommend using 80–100 cm / 32–40 inch circular needles to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
