Sunnyside Shorts

The shorts have an option for a knit or crochet waistband. The shorts start with either the knit/purl ribbed folded waistband worked in the round or alternatively a half double crochet ribbed waistband in rows which is folded and joined at the end. The rest of the shorts are crochet. The waistband is worked in two sections; a back panel and front panel and the panels are seamed at the side. The front panel is worked straight across and the back panel includes increases to create a flattering V-shape at the back. The front and back panels are joined at the crotch. Each leg is worked separately. Optional edging is included. The pattern includes a custom sizing section where you can use any gauge yarn and calculate your personalised sizing.
