Squared Edge Hexagon Blanket

Gauge: One hexagon side to side: 2.5", point to point (top to bottom): 2.75" This blanket is constructed from a combination of whole hexagons, half hexagons, and quarter hexagons, allowing for a clean, squared edge finish. I’ve always loved working with geometric designs, and I tend to square them off whenever possible to create a polished, finished look. The pattern includes instructions for multiple sizes and is designed to be modular and flexible, making it easy to customize both the overall size and your color placement. A join-as-you-go method is used for assembly and is explained within the pattern, though motifs can also be made separately and seamed if you prefer a more portable project. The pattern uses US crochet terminology and includes written instructions, charts, and full schematics to guide layout and construction. I used 14 different colors in a random layout, but this design also works beautifully with fewer colors or a more structured color plan.
